Dear Betty and Family,
My prayers and sympathy to you in the loss of my friend and colleage in ministry. I cherish the time that I served at Sand Spring Baptist during the time that Brother Tyre served Alton Baptist. I recall once after a two week revival Tyre's calling me for a game of golf at Bob-O-Links. Tyre said, "I've been revivaling for two weeks and am as tight as a bango string." We had wonderful fellowship that day. God bless and comfort his family and friends in our loss.

Dear Betty and entire Denney family, Our prayers are with all of you. We were so blessed to have Bro. Denney for our pastor at Happy Home Baptist Church at Leeds, Al. I have thought of you down through the years with the fondest of memories. I remember how he would bless my heart when he would sing before the message. We love you so much. Bro. Denney performed the marriage ceremony for me and my husband almost 45 years ago. Much love, Dianna and Lendon Milner Leeds Al.

Brother Denney & his family were an inspriration to many. My family met them when he was pastor of Happy Home Baptist Church and we followed him to Eden West Side in Pell City, then he moved too far away, but we kept in touch over the years and tried our best to see him when he would come back to Alabama, we even went to Kentucky once when his church had a celebration for him. They loved him in Kentucky as much as we did here in Alabama. Your loss is our loss and Brother Denney will always...

He was God's man wherever God put him, a trusted friend and someone I will never forget and someone I will look up when I get to heaven. He loved his family so and my prayers and thoughts are with you as you carry on here without him, knowing he is having the time of his life with Jesus who he so loved.

He was Faithful til the end. He pastored my family at Happy Home Baptist Curch in my younger years, and during a hard time losing my mother, He will be greatly missed.

Dearest Denney Family,
Our loss is heaven's gain. Tyre had one of the biggest hearts I have ever known. He loved unconditionally and embraced everyone in his love. Many called him friend and many will become better friends to others because of Tyre's example. He stood up for the things that make us who we are in life.
His compassion for his fellow man was something to behold.
I loved to hear him sing with such deep passion and love of the old hymns. His voice was one of the...

Brother Denney is truly one of the greatest men I have ever had the joy to meet. My life is truly better for him having been in it. I pray for those of us he left behind because now we have to go on without one of Gods Chosen Angels. I love you Denney Family. De Anna
