In preparation for a prescentation to the Los Angeles County Bar Association I came across the article about David. I loved David Ellwanger. He was the best staff member because all he cared about was that the person he was supporting would be perfect and fabulous. David made us all that was when most of us were not. I am sorry he is gone, and I want his family to know that this very old bar member from California remembers David with great fondness. Pat Phillips

RIP dear friend. You have fought the good fight and the legal profession is the better got it. Grateful for our U of A meeting and your mentorship throughout our careers.
