Not sure what to say?

Always a gentleman. Always kind and caring. A wonderful surgeon and teacher. The medical world has suffered a great loss. I will forever appreciate him.
He will be missed.

Miles:
Sorry for your loss. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

First a teacher. then a colleague, then a confidant. Always there for everyone. I know how much you will miss him.

I remember Dr. Gathright well from my days of working in the recovery room at Ochsner in the early 60's. He was a gentleman always, and equally respected by his patients and the staff.

My sympathy to the family.

Byron was the best brother-in-law a sister could ask for. He will be greatly missed by our family!

Celebrating a life well lived. I will cherish the memories forever.

Byron was always a good friend to me.
