Not sure what to say?

Dan,
my Dad called and told me of Porters passing and I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I remember your Dad taking us camping when we were young and how great a guy he was. Your definitely in my thoughts.

Dan,
Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. You and your family are in my prayers.

to my gibson boys; thanks for all the giggles and belly laughs, thanks for bringing me joy, thanks for the outrageous and fun conversations, thanks for sharing your hearts and adventures with me, thanks for reminding me that strangers are friends i haven't yet met, thanks for the mischevious glimmer in your eyes (love that), thanks for your giving hugs, thanks for coming into my life. porter- i'll see you in the next go round without my hubby, and you can take me to pineville, or wherever....

Gay,Anita & Dan - I was very saddened to hear about your father. He truly was a very special man. I am glad I was able to know him in my younger years. God Bless you all.

Anita, Gay and Dan, I loved your Dad!! The obituary said it all, he was a very talented and very well respected man. We Love You!!

Danny, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gay, Mark & Amy and all - What a wonderful tribute to an obviously very, very special man - who touched the lives of many. Although I never met your dad/grandfather - I knew him through what you've shared with us, Gay. I sent him my thoughts - everytime I walked by his house (& in these last few weeks, I said a prayer - every time I glanced across the creek at his house, or walked by). I have all of you in my prayers and I wish you comfort and peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Porter was like a second father to me when I was a teen, back when Dan and I were always getting into low-level mischief. His warmth and sense of humor will always be treasured. I know he's looking down on us from Heaven with that ever-present twinkle in his eye while he shares a good laugh with whoever is around. God bless Porter, and God bless your family.

To the Family of Porter Gibson. I have not know him for very long - my dealings with Mr. Gibson was with Gary Schaal. He was a wonderful man, full of joy, and always with a good thought for everyone. I know that he will be missed by all. I am just thankful that I had the opportunity to meet him and speak with him every so often and it was always a pleasure. I grew up in that area and we would talk about how much it has grown. He will be missed by all - he was a very dear man. My heartfelt...
