Toni, realizing more than ten years has passed since Bob left this plane, hopefully the sadness of god passing has dulled somewhat. I was thinking about Bob this morning while admiring my wife´s engagement and wedding ring that he crafted. I started googling and found this obituary. Hey, Aunt Toni! I learned stuff about Uncle Bob that I never knew by reading his obituary. I'm fairly sure it's the first entertaining one I've ever seen. I can't imagine how it feels to no longer see the face you'd seen every day for half a century. All by itself, that one small thing is huge.
Since y'all got married before I was born, he'd been a part of my life as long as you had.
I'll always remember Uncle Bob for his sense of humor. In a marriage, it just doesn't get any...

I didn't know Bob, but whoever wrote the obituary did a great job. It made me laugh. I'm sorry for your families loss.

I read the obit for Brother . Holcomb today, after having it's link publicized. He sounds like a fine man and a great Mason. My condolences on to his family, friends and Lodge, on their loss.

My condolences to you and your family!!! S.O.B Sweet old bob was a dear friend of mine ever since u all left Brownsville tx I've kept in contact with bob through emails!!! Love u bob u will never be forgotten!!!
