Not sure what to say?

Dear Bev,
We just read in the American Israelite about the passing of Leon. He was a wonderful and talented man who was very devoted to you. Please accept our sincere sympathy.

Dr Lichtin was a warm, wonderful and brilliant man. I learned much about cosmetics and life from him.
I have great memories of a great man.

Dear Bev,

I am sad to know that this wonderful, kind, gentle, talented and wise man is gone. You and your family have my sympathy.

I was privileged to have Dr. Lichtin as one or my professors at the U.C. College of Pharmacy from 1964 to 1969 and he was a profound influence on my professional and personal life. I am certain he influenced a generation of pharmacists like me and cosmetic scientists. I can not think of another professor who tried to make certain that his students...

While I had only known Dr. Lichtin briefly after I began at the COP in 1986, I valued his opinions and support of the College. It was also a priviledge to do some training with his son, Alan.

He was a wonderful colleague and I enjoyed knowing him.

Dr. Lichtin was an amazing man of many talents. His collaboration as a composer of music, with Dr.Wolfgang Ritschel, an artist, to put music to art was so special. I am very proud to say both of these men were faculty colleagues at the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy.

To one of the most brillant man I had the honor to work for. You cherished your family and spoke about them daily. The love you had for Bev was rare and as you would say honorable. I will never forget our Friday and Saturday nights up late looking at stamps and the smile on your face. Listening to music and you teaching me about the different composser's.Our walks that made me giggle everytime because you always made sure they were an adventure. Rest in peace !

I am happy to know that Dr Lichtin lived a long and hopefully healthy life. At the same time, I am saddened by his passing. He was my professor at the College of Pharmacy back in the early 60's. Very smart man, good sense of humor, excellent teacher. I pray that the family finds peace in his passing, and that good memories sustain you. Peace to all.
