Not sure what to say?

Dr Stupfel treated my grandmother, mom and dad, sister and nephews and brother and me and my two children. He is still missed as a caring physician. He started out by taking me as a 4 year old to Providence to set my broken arm. Loved him

Our family Dr. my entire life untill he retired, Still haven't found a Dr. I trusted as much. The office on Halsey was right by our house and we never had " Insurance" My Parents were always trusted by him as well as I when I was an adult. We always paid the bill. Sad when he retired. Ken

Thank you Dr. Stupfel. You were the only doctor that my family had. We saw you on Broadway street, you made house calls, So from 1951 till your retirement, you kept us all healthy. Thank you Frank Hoffert and family

To the Stupfel family: Frank was my GP for many years, and I never minded going to the doctor, because he was always so kind and engaging. I travelled to Europe and Africa several times in my twenties, and he would ask all about it, showing true interest. A wonderful soul that was rewarded with a long and fruitful life...and now a VIP spot in heaven.

Dr Stupfel was a loved family doctor to the Zarosinskis from about 1955 til he retired. He saw my mom through 4 pregnancies and delivered my youngest 4 siblings. He got us through all the childhood illnesses and mishaps...lots of tonsillitis...and sports injuries. He was always gracious and made room in his schedule when Dad would just show up as the office was opening without an appointment.Thankfully, he recognized that my Dad was having heart issues in 1990 and referred him for bypass...

Dr. Stupfel never saved my life but he was a wonderful doctor to all the Banasky family for many, many years. I still can't pass the office where he practiced without remembering handsome Dr. Stupful. Our family enjoyed receiving the annual Christmas card that was so beautiful. I hope you will be posting some pictures from over the years.

Frank was an amazing person who was such a great teacher by example in so many ways. One small but example: One day he had a hiccup. Not the hiccups but a singular hiccup. He said excuse me and then it was gone. I asked him about it and he did not say how but told me that one can simply make them go away.

Many eastern disciplines teach one how to control one's emotions and physical attributes but leave it to an MD RC from Portland to prove their point.

Dr. Stupfel was our family doctor when I was a child. He was a brother of Cliff Stupfel who was married to my cousin Mary Kelley.
I will never forget the night in 1954 when Dr. Stupfel came to our house on Upland Dr in Portland. I was laying in my parents bed paralyzed. He diagnosed me with polio and wrapped me in a blanket and put me in the back seat of his car. He and my Dad drove me to Holiday Park Hospital to begin my 4 month stay. I was 8 years old. I recovered and I'm now 72 years...

To Dr. Stupfel's family -- I am alive today because of your dad. When I was 5 years old and he was our family doctor, my mom called his office, describing my "high fever." He came out to our house on his way home, and found me with a 106-degree temperature. He put me into a cold bathtub, and even added ice cubes. That night, he diagnosed me with encephalitis, and within two hours I was on life-saving antibiotics. Had your dad responded to my mom, "Bring him in tomorrow morning," there...
