Not sure what to say?

Adam and i were at BUD/s together. We were roommates briefly. He was sick a stand-up guy, deeply religious who didn't judge me for not being religious. He always had such a huge smile. The guys in the class called him "McSweetie-pie." We lost touch after BUD/s, i went to the fleet and he went EOD. When i reported to my command in Whidbey Island in April 2007, I was terribly saddened to learn of his passing. I went to the memorial after meeting him, 17 years after his passing. i still think...

Thank you Adam.

I remember that day in Kirkuk, standing at attention at this ramp ceremony, when all three Navy EOD heroes flag draped coffins were loaded onto that C130. The whole base turned out, Army, Navy, Air Force. It was the most difficult day of my life. It's hard to stand at attention, saluting, when you are a 49 year old grizzled sergeant, and you can't reach and wipe the tear that streamed down your face. The only comfort was that I was not alone. I have moved on in my life, and tried to put...

Rest in peace Adam, you are not forgotten. Your mom, and all your loved ones are in our prayers today.

While we do not write during most of the year....we seem to have forgotten...I want you to know that we check in on your guestbook to see who posted.
Your picture is still on our desk....your family still in our prayers. We have not forgotten..

Since the Revolutionary War, soldiers have dedicated their lives to protecting and maintaining the pride in the U.S., and they are very important to us. We must remember that, although many soldiers did not make it through war, they are veterans, nonetheless. They deserve to be honored as much as anyone who survived.

I know of a young man from Valdosta, Georgia , Joseph "Adam" McSween, who lost his life fighting in Hawijah, Iraq and he is remembered and missed. He and all...

I cried when you passed away. I still cry today . Although I loved you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best.
R.I.P. my son, I love you and miss you on a daily basis!
R.I.P. Adam, Love you and Miss you and thanks for your service!
R.I.P. My Hero, I love you and miss you every day! God Bless you and Thank you for your service!
In my heart forever,
Mom

?"REMEMBER ME"

To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, they were cheated. But to the joyful, I am at peace. And, to the faithful, I never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So, as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea ... REMEMBER ME.
As you look in awe at a mighty forest
And its grand majesty .... REMEMBER ME.
As you look upon a flower and
Admire its...
