Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you Eleanor. It is so hard to lose a dear loved one. You and I are all to familiar with this dread disease. I shall hopefully see you at our 50th reunion next year or perhaps sooner.

The memorial service was lovely -- I think it was Bruce's spirit playfully blowing Peter's notes away. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family, and especially with you, Eleonor, from one who has been where you are now.

Bruce, you remain in our hearts. I have such woderful memories and photos of my adventures with you and Eleonor --- sailing to Vera Cruz, spaying puppies and kitties in Roatan, the Ship of Fools, and more recently, spending time with you and Eleonor back on Clear Lake, where it all began. Much love,

Our prayers are for all of Bruce's family, and for Eleonor, especially.
Our memories of Bruce will live on within our hearts, especially his warm smile and twinkly eyes.
Eleonor, may all the wonderful memories left behind bring you comfort.

My memories of my dear brother-in-law Bruce are many...but the one that comes to mind is the fact that he gave the best, take your breath away, hugs...and I happen to love a good hugger.and let me tell you, I have a lot to hug...Bruce seemed to appreciate that and soon I became known as the "keeper of the melons" and he was the"melon musher". I will truly miss my melon musher...Love to you dear sister Eleonor...

Our prayers are for all of Bruce's family, especially Eleonor.

Bruce was a gallant and lovely man with a lot of wisdom. He will be missed.

Our brief friendship with Bruce, through Eleonor, was one of pure pleasure. Of course, boating was our hot topic, one we could all relate to. Eleonor, we'll see you this winter on our visit through Santa Fe. Chin up, love.

Sarabess and John Cahill

Once upon a time, I lived across the street from Bruce and Eleonor. Sometimes Bruce would let me borrow his tools complete with personalized instruction. One day, an unusually stubborn screw would not allow itself to become unscrewed at my house, so Bruce brought over his power screwdriver. As he was showing me how to use it, he looked at me very intently and asked, "You know which way to turn a screw to tighten it, don't you?" Before I could lie or be embarrassed, he said, "Well, just in...
