Good man, my Uncle J. Fred. His two sisters who predeceased him were my mother, Charlene Bucy Baumgardner, who died in 2014, and the baby of the family, Mary "Ethelene" Bucy, who died in 2010.

My parents and I adored the Bucys. His vast contributions to Texas Instruments ultimately led to medical applications that saved the lives of millions of women. Also, his genius and leadership resulted in military inventions that fortified America, thereby protecting our freedom. Keeping America strong was more important to J Fred Bucy than the bottom line. RIP Sir and dance all night and sail all day with Odetta.
