Not sure what to say?

I would like to give my deep condolences to Big Jim...My Mother Eva, Brother Gary and Sister Cheryl used to hand out in the sixties when you all lived on Sacramento Ave. I was a little nuisance kid and you used to give me Spook beverages to get rid of me. I am again very sorry about your loss and hope there is joy in the future...Brent Temple

I knew Jim when I lived in Chico. Jim Davis, my car painter and best friend, introduced us. He was a nifty guy to know, really into sprint car racing and has left a legacy of a huge number of friends and clients behind. Peace to you Jim, and condolences to the family.

I was lucky enough to work on his race team with Jim and Skip for mamy years, we went down under and had many great times! I love him and his family who I became quite close to.
I called him Big Daddy, Big Jim ,JC,etc. On the way back from Austrailia we'd hit the beach and snorkel in Hawaii. So much fun with such a great man.
Everywhere we went he was a crowd favorite, "tallest man in NASCAR" the announcer would say.

Via Con Dios Big Daddy!

Back in the 60's Jim would pick me up at Fosters Freeze in Red Bluff and take me to Shasta College in Redding once a week
Later in life I was thrilled to live a block from him in Chester...My Pal and Great friend...I really will miss his friendship...
