To Betty and Family, We are sadden to hear the news about JC. We treasure our memories of having the pleasure to have met JC. We remember spending long hours playing PAC Man in your home and laughing so much. Somehow we lost contact but we always remembered you and JC. As a matter of fact just recently we were asking each other if anyone had any news of JC. He was a great and kind man.

J.C and I were roommates during my stint as a Harlem Globetrotter...
We spoke to him the day before his passing... He was a gentle giant of a man who loved working with children.. J.C. had no peers on the basketball court, and he played all positions...
My family and I will miss him dearly...

The Smith Family loved J.C. and will miss being with him at our family get-to-gethers. He was always there through the good times and the sad times. We will miss his laughter and support. J.C. was really like a brother to us and he will be missed greatly.
