Not sure what to say?

Peggy & family, having lived away from N.J all my life I was so glad to see you both at the SRL reunion, I didn't even know you & Dennis were married and now he's gone. I am so sorry for your loss. From all the messages here I know you have a lot of loving friends and family around you. I only knew him as a teen, I wish I had known him later,he sounds like a wonderful man. Some people you think will always be around as they are the people you can count on. Uncle Denny was one of those people. I grew up thinking at times that I was a Cogan or they were Zellers and it didn't matter where one family ended and the other began. I am lucky to have many special memories of our families being together growing up. We will all miss you Uncle Denny. I know everyone will carry a part of you with them.

I worked with Dennis at Sister Pat's Cancer Camp. He always made you feel like a friend. We were touched by an angel. No matter how long it has been, I can still hear his voice...

My deepest sympathies To Dennis' family and friends.I had the pleasure to relieve Dennis when we worked in 4 Engine.Dennis had the perfect wit to appreciate the antics of the firefighters and our "customers". A great provider- for his firefighters, for his family and for his charities. Measured in years a time too short, yet a life in full.
May the God of the Celts hold Dennis in his hands and bless his family.

A great man, a gentle man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Dennis has left a legacy of caring, giving, and loving that will give each of us wonderful memories to hold in our hearts during this sad time. He was a special part of my life growing up and in our "maturing years". Thank you for being there for all of us. Rest in peace cousin.

Dear Peggy and Rosemary,
Although we haven't seen each other in many years, I still feel close to my friends from St. Rose's and our wonderful neighborhood. I am very sorry to hear about Dennis. I hope you find some measure of peace with your loss. It sounds as though he had a wonderful life for which I'm sure you are grateful.
Fondly,
Mary Bowler Van Nest,

Dear Peggy and Rosemary and family,
My deepest sympathy to you for your great loss. Dennis certainly left a rich legacy, and I am sure that he is remembered fondly by all who knew him - either way back when, or in the present. My prayers are with you.
Your old St. Rose of Lima friend and classmate,

We're very sorry for your loss, Dennis will always be in the families thoughts and prayers, know he is in a better place seated with His Father. May he rest in peace for his time here was well served.

Our sympathy and prayers for an old friend, along with our best wishes to Peg and family. I've been retired for close to 21 years but have fond memories of Denis and Peg along with their friends Jim and Patricia Richardson, Don and Pat Schwobel and many friends from Our Lady of Fatima Council Knights of Columbus in Newark.. I cherish photos of Denis's late father Jim I have in my possession taken of the old homestead of his grandparents in Ireland in March 1972
