Not sure what to say?

I'm a little behind on technology. but now caught up. J. G. and I met and competed in sports from Rancier Middle School to HIGH SCHOOL. HE WAS THE ULTIMATE COMPETITOR. WE TRAVELED TO RECRUITING TRIPS TOGETHER AND WERE HOPING TO ATTEND COLLEGE TOGETHER. BEFORE THE GAME IN HIGH SCHOOL BETWEEN CLEBURNE (RANKED) AND US, HE INVITED ME TO A PRE-GAME MEAL HIS MOTHER HAD MADE FOR US. THEN WE WENT ON AND BEAT CLEBURNE. THERE IS SO MANY GOOD THINGS JG POSSESSED, THAT IT WOULD BE TOO LONG. HE WILL...

we would like to thank everyone for all the special acts of kindness after the loss of our brother. we loved him dearly and will be missed so very much. he was a very special brother and time will only ease our pain. he was truly a "one of a kind" jg had such a way with each and everyone in his own special way. he kept us all laughing and had a way about him that could make the whole room laugh at the drop of a hat. his laughter i will never forget because it was so contagious. we miss him...

to all who knew and loved J.G.
my condolences to all of J.G.'s friends. i appreciate the awesome outpouring of love ya'll have shown. we celebrated J.G.'s life this past thursday and the turnout was overwhelming. he was amazing! the first time i saw him i thought he was the most beautiful man i'd ever seen and hoped i'd have a chance to meet him. twelve years later i'm reeling from the loss yet so grateful for the memories. J.G. was more beautiful inside than he was outside and we are all...

My first experience with JG was in the 6th grade on the flag football fields of Fowler Elementary. Even then he was already this legendary figure from Ave. D Elementary. It wasn't until High School I would meet JG again and he was every bit the legend we had heard about in the 6th grade.

The list of good times is too long to talk about.

More importantly, I was able to be with JG during his last few weeks and I can tell all of you he still talked about the great times he had...

JG and I were close friends from the 6th grade till our Senior year at KHS (class of '72). We met at a cookout for the 6th grade safety patrol at Conder Park. We instanly connected. One day after football practice in the 8th grade, we were having a conversation while he was waiting on Coach Carney to give him a ride home. He was talking fondly about his father who had recently passed away. I remember thinking, "how can he talk about him when he has just died?" 5 months later my mother died...

J.G. was a year a head of me in high school, I remember he was a friend to all he came in contact with. I remember being Shreveport LA at a rodeo never expecting to see J.G. there he was doing what he did best, protecting the rodeo cowboys. Hats off to you J.G. Thoughts and prayers extended to his family.

Dear Carolyn, Beverly and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about J.G.
I remember him as a young boy trying to be with his older sisters and their friends.
I know this is a difficult time for you and your families. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
