Over the past 30 years I enjoyed Ron's company mostly at Gravitt family gatherings. I knew him as a quiet, kind and gentle man -- qualities that make life worth living in these crazy times. We shared a love of aviation. We would sit and pop open a couple of beers and talk like a couple of old fighter jocks. He loved life and family and will be missed.

Ron sent me this self-portrait of him enjoying the splendor of the Great Outdoors.
Ron was a fine gentleman, co-worker and friend. I worked with him at Universal Studios for seven years. Never did I see him loose his patience or professional demeanor. He was a truly dedicated craftsman, loved his work, and had a tremendous sense of humor. Ron will be greatly missed.
