Wanda we just heard about Bugg's passing. Vaughn just called and said he had
just been told. So sorry for your loss. Wish we had known, we would have come
to his memorial. He will be missed by so many people. We all knew him for
so many years. What a wonderful, loving man he was, we enjoyed visiting
with y'all that day we stopped by a few years ago. All our love to you and the family. God Bless you.

May God's peace, mercy and all the other joyous gifts He gives to us be with all of you.
His stories were always interesting.
I "assume" he left the 442 to Jacob. Not exactly a train...but certainly built to last like one.
God bless all of you.

Very sad for the family to have to grief the loss of a great man. I have known Bugs since the early 60's, myself and others friends were in our early teens and was always short on spending money. We could always count on Bugs. He always had a job at the fireworks stand , so we could earn a little walking around money. A Big Man with a Big Heart. Happy Trails my friend , you will always be remembered.

It's been 16 hours and 4 days since you've been gone and I still don't know what to say except i love you dad. The thought of life without you fills me with dread. But I'll be ok, because you helped me find happy again. Or maybe for the first time. This last year working with you has been so much fun, exhausting at times, but really enjoyable. I feel proud of what we've done together. Its the best gift I've ever been given. I'm gonna cherish it always.
I miss you and love you,
Carol (but you can call me Peanut if you want.)

I have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Threadgill for 17 years. He would always say, you can call me Bugs but always felt he deserved more respect. He was quit a character. His favorite saying to me, was young lady, I came to yank your chain. It was always so funny. I loved listening to his stories, especially the trips he and Mrs. Threadgill took. He became famous for every Christmas bringing everyone a jar of Jelly. He came this year and the entire back of his truck was filled with cases of jelly as he made his way to friends and passed out. My thoughts and prayers with the entire family. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to chat with this man. I looked forward to his visits each month and to hear his next story. He will greatly be missed by all here in the office.

Buggs was truly a one-of-a-kind. He would always take the time to answer any question you might have. He was an open encyclopedia on Oldsmobiles and many other cars.
Rest in peace old friend. You will be missed.

My Uncle Buggs was the kindest heart of gold of anyone. He always help friends, family and just people and children. You could always call him up and he would be there. I remember great memories of our Tyer family always being together growing up and going camping and spending time together. He always like a father to us even after passing of our father M.C. and treated us like his own children. I can say he was one of best uncle anyone could ask for. I went him to drag racing in LA and Denver and boy was a wonderful moment with him. We are going to miss you from our hearts and I pray for Aunt Wanda, Wayne, Carol, Jacob and Darlene on being strong there. What a wonderful smile he brings to us. Love you always, Cheryl Tyer your niece.

Ole Buggs...He and I raced A fuel dragster in the late 50's We home built everything, engine boxed rods, chassis. All but the wheels and tires' I drove for about two years
Buggs' mind always in hi gear or overdrive. He was self made self educated craftsman, innovator business man.
All of us who have known him will not forget Buggs.......Dick
