I did not know Darin, but have been wearing his name on my wrist for 22 years. It's been a while since I read about him and today was so surprised to learn/remember that he served on the Ike - my daughter-in-law has just completed a 2 year assignment on the Ike. I continue to pray for Darin, his family and friends. We will never forget.

I never met Darin but was lucky to be his brothers squad leader for his plebe summer. Both these men made the ultimate sacrifice. Rest in Peace boys look over your mom and brother. Go Navy!!!
