1931 - 2015
Born December 6, 1931 and on August 15, 2015 entered eternal life in the presence of the family he created and loved with his wife, Maureen Rita (nee Wilwerding). His priorities of his Catholic faith and family carried him gracefully through life. Dad was cherished to the end by his children William (Daphne), Kathleen Moloney (Vinny), Jennifer Egelhoff (Mike), Patrick (Mary), Laura Ruesch (Gary), Timothy (Laura), Mary Rogers (Rick), Robert (Teri), and Daniel (Lois), 43 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Joanne Sosso and joins 9 departed siblings.
Dad is fondly remembered for his quick wit, genuine concern for the daily lives and joys of his family, fall fishing trips and a multitude of other treasured traditions where family was celebrated. He served honorably in the US Navy, graduated from Marquette University as an Electrical Engineer, and provided selflessly for his family while working a distinguished career with Bendix, AC Spark Plug and Astronautics corporations.
Dad shared his love and faith with his family from the very beginning, never wavering in his desire to seek heaven and help guide us to that ultimate joy.
A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18 from 4 to 7 PM, followed by the Rosary at 7:30 PM. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at the Church of the Gesu, Milwaukee (1145 W. Wisconsin Ave) from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Committal services to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Memorials appreciated to Wisconsin Right to Life, Gesu Parish, Sacred Heart Parish and Catholic Relief Services.
