Rev. J. Richard "Dick" Gottshall

With Pastor Dick Gottshall's passing, heaven gained an angel, but we lost a saint. I am not sure I have ever met a more dedicated Christian than Pastor Dick. I have known him for many years - being born a couple of miles from his first church in Pennsylvania. I met Rev. Gottshall at church and got to know him because of friendships and mutual respect he and my dad had for each other. He was a true Christian who lived his faith every day and demonstrated it in the way he greeted and treated people he met. I always admired and respected him.

I became more acquainted with Brother Dick when my wife and I became members of Central COB. Dick was a committed servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and undoubtedly the most faithful person I´ve had the privilege to know and befriend. He will be missed greatly.
