J. Ray Manning

J. Ray Manning, 72, a resident since 1950 of Anderson, Indiana, a U.S. Navy and Air Force veteran, owner and operator of J & R Auction from 1983 to 1995 after his retirement, died at St. Johns Medical Center on Monday, April 29, 2002, following a brief illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2002, 4-8 p.m., at Brown Butz Diedring Funeral Home, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson. Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Ron Halbert. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors will be conferred at graveside by VFW Post 266.
