J. Robert "Bob" Martin

Dear Mrs Martin and Family,
Today I first learned of Bob's passing in an newspaper article and I am shocked. My deepest simpathies to you all for your loss. I rememeber Bob from the fire department days when you always knew when Bob was in the room. A gentleman, a friend and a brother firefighter. He actually taught me to drive the older manual shift trucks which he made it look to easy. He was a good friend to my dad Henry and always had a good word to my family. I know he's somewheres...

I want to send all my best to Vera,Darlene,& the rest of Bob's family. I wasn't close to Bob like a family member, but for a while I worked quite a bit with Bob. No matter how early I started working, Bob was working when I got in.Bob was a great leader , worker,& mentor. I will never forget Bob, a man who had a beautiful family ,led by a wonderful wife, Vera.
