Not sure what to say?

My condolences for your loss. Michael was behavioral psychology professor at Metropolitan State college 1991. I love to attend his class because he was so brilliant, funny in a tricky way, and engaging as a professor. He would hide typos and other errors in his quizzes and examinations. If a student found them they could get five points added to their base score. What a delightful way to engage student in such a complex field of study. I have known Michael many subsequent years at lunches or...

I’ve known and communicated with Mike since our days @ WSHS.difference of opinionsyes, but never a harsh word from either of us.RIP sir..see you on the flip side!

Mike was one of the most thoughtful and eager people who loved learning and teaching. Mike and I met late in our professional careers. I was always impressed with his willingness to be supportive in bringing DU programs to diverse populations and those population groups that had a history of being dismissed and disenfranchised. What a loss I feel personally and professionally. I am deeply thankful for the time we spent together and our many great discussions.

Mike and I were roommates and classmates at USD, frequently stopping on a highway or a roadway to arm wrestle, or more. We once tested each other with regard to who remembered the most from our professional seminar courses. He, of course, won (but only because he had graduated most recently). His humor would cut me off at the knees but I always went down laughing at myself.
Over the past 50 years as we developed in our professional lives, I would always try to stay with Mike whenever I...

Mike was my favorite professor, an inspiration to my career in addictions treatment, and a friend. He always had a way to bring humor and light to our classes. I will always value the research I did with him and will miss our conversations about "what's next?" in our professional lives. As well, our conversations about mountain exploring and Colorado adventures could always bring a smile to my face. He helped me in so many ways in my personal journey of becoming a counselor and I am so...

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Mike's passing. I will always remember him as a dedicated, thoughtful, and inspiring professor. Thank you Mike for all of the wisdom you passed on and all of the lives you made better. My deepest condolences go out to Mike's family.

Professor Faragher was a beautiful soul who profoundly improved the lives of those around him. As an instructor, he was passionate about his work, warm to everyone he greeted, and consistently, consistently kind. A spontaneous chat with Mike in a hallway could turn a tough day into a great day, and he was widely regarded as a disarming man who cared deeply about his work and students. As a seasoned instructor with ample authority, Mike could have been anything, but he chose to be kind. I am...

I met Mike our sophomore year of highschool. Getting to know Mike was easy, he was a character and his humor was contagious. We reconnected at reunions and through Facebook years later. I loved his political comments! My sympathies to Kevin and the family.
Mike, you are truly missed. Rest easy dear friend.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
