Not sure what to say?

Rene purchased my house at 187 Turnpike Road.
i spoke to him just a few weeks ago as I was preparing to move to Richmond, VA. I asked him if he still liked the house and he told me it had become his "sanctuary." We always laughed about the flowered wall paper I had left in the master bedroom. And he actually apologized when he told me he had it taken down! I will always think of his kind and gentle spirit and how--no matter how difficult his life might have been--he was always...

I've always considered Rene one of the finest human beings I've ever known! My one regret - letting time pass without recent contact. Our sincere sympathy to Cathy and the family he loved soooo much!

Rene - Christmas 2005

We have known Rene for 10 years. He became a part of our family from the moment Laurie and Tom married. No only did we gain a sister-in-law, but we also gained an extended father in law. His passing will leave a huge space space in our hearts but we are very fortunate to have the memories we have; Christmas Eve's, birthdays, parades. Know you are in our constant prayers.

I shall always remember Rene's smile, professionalism, reliabilty and above all the pride he had in his family. He was a much valued colleague during my time with Shipley.
To his family, please accept our deepest sympathy at this very sad time.
Bob(ex Shipley Europe), Barbara James and family.

For me, Rene personified heroic courage in the face of battling a series of major illnesses over many years. His kindness, humaneness, gentleness, and wisdom were well known to those of us who valued him as a friend and co-worker. May he rest in peace.

Having known Rene for some years, and having even played squash together in the past, I was saddened to hear of Rene's passing, and offer my sincerest condolences to all of Rene's extended family and friends....With my deepest sympathy,...Jack
