Not sure what to say?

Susie and Family,
Our deepest condolences go out to you and yours.
"No life is so short that it does not make an impact" and Steve's life surely made a tremendous impact on many many people. He seemed such a positive person. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers and remember Steve with a smile.

Mrs. Simon,
A couple of months ago Steve started volunteering his time with the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. We work with the most severely abused children in the county. Steve made an immediate impact as he worked on management and supervisory issues with my senior staff. We are better employees and better people because of our contact with your husband. He will be greatly missed at the Center. Please know that your entire family will be in our hearts and prayers.

Susie and family, the news of Steve's passing was so sad. Of course, my memories of him are at Hickman High School, but I know that the fine qualities he displayed then guided his life. Susie, you and Steve were two of the people at our 30th Reunion who remain in my memory. You both were friendly and sweet and so good to see again. God Bless, Nancy Brooker Bowers

Dear Susie and family,

What a sad event to learn of Steve's death. I worked with Steve at the BRRF and never knew a finer man. It was such a reward to watch him advance with ExxonMobil and he always made me proud to be an ExxonMobil. He never forgot his ol' friends. Now he surely has gone to his reward and know he will be in your hearts forever.

Sincerely, Jerry and Pat Webb, Houston

Miss Susie and her girls,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Steve was a very well liked and accomplished man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. Your beautiful memories with him will help you through your most difficult days. He is always with you, to walk you through the path of life. God bless you all and my prayers are you. (Keith and Lynda Baugher's daughter)

What shocking and tragic news, and what a loss for all who knew Steve. When I first met him on the second floor in the BRRF office building it was summer 67 and we were starting careers. By leaps and bounds Steve advanced, but never forgot his roots and remained accessible and modest throughout his career. Though I saw him infrequently over the next 40+ years, he always greeted me as an old friend. His memory will live on in the countless people he touched in caring ways. To be released to...

Our lives were enriched by knowing and working with Steve. He was a caring and loving man who will be missed by many people.Steve will live on in all of our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with Susie, the girls and all of your family.

Susie,

You and your family are in our prayers as you walk down this path. Sandy and I had the pleasure of your friendship over a number of the past 40 years. Our love will continue to be with you, and our prayer is that your faith will carry you through this sad time- God bless and keep you all.

Steve was truly a fine man, who helped many, and made a better place for all.

It was my pleasure to work with and for him.

With great sadness, I note the passing of Steve Simon. Although not a close friend, I knew Steve to be a quality person who valued integrity above all else. My deepest sympathy to Susie and Dan--and all of the family of Steve.
