J. C. Smith, 70, of Toccoa, Georgia, an employee of Toccoa Casket Company for 35 years before his retirement, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 29, 2001. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2001, 7-9 p.m., at Acree-Davis Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel, 350 South Pond Street, Toccoa. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2 p.m., at Rock Quarry Holiness Church, officiated by Reverend Edward Hood, Joe Irvin, and Charles McIntyre. Interment will be at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Acree-Davis Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel, Toccoa, Georgia.
