Not sure what to say?

Dad said he worked with Art at WFIL . This staff photo is from the 60´s.

We remember you in friendship.

I was looking for Art and Rose Marie and found this. My parents, Steve and Elsie Walsh were friends from WfIL. Mom asked me to try and find Rose Marie. I remember going to their house as a child. I am sorry to see they both have passed.

Art was a wonderful and kind mentor at the Department of Public Information when I arrived in 1986. I learned so much about storytelling from him. He contributed so much to Penn State's rising national stature. His THON video made me cry. Art's anecdotes about American Bandstand/Dick Clark and the early days of American broadcasting were inspirational. Thanks so much, Art.

Clay,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May the God of all comfort be with you and your family now and in the days to come. 2 Cor 1:2

It was my privilege to work with Art Stober in the Penn State Department of Public Information and Relations from 1978 to 1983. Art was a wonderful, kind man and extremely talented. I never saw him upset or stressed out. The saying "Keep calm and carry on," could have been written with Art in mind. After his retirement from Penn State he helped me several times as a consultant with my own fledgling PR business. I felt lucky to call him a colleague and friend.
