Claire, that was I who sent the unsigned note about working with Pete. I'm not real familiar wih how these things work. My condolences to you and the children in your loss.

Claire, I was privileged to work with Pete for a few years as a teller at Citizens before moving on to First National of Jackson, later becoming Trustmark. I'm sorry to hear of Pete's passing and his struggle with cancer. I just sent my condolences to Joe Pearce's wife, Mary. Joe was head teller at the bank when I worked there. He died just a few days ago. He and Pete were about the same age.

Sorry we could not make it to the funeral. We were reading the devastating news about Pete's passing at the very time of the funeral on Saturday.

He was so knowledgeable about the Bible and always willing to share his faith. I was saddened to hear about Pete. I know he is resting in the arms of Jesus now. I worked with Pete for many years at The Galey Agency and enjoyed his wit. My prayers are for the ones left behind until they meet again.
