J. S. Wright, 84, of Lawndale, North Carolina, founder and former owner of Farm Supply Co. of Shelby Inc. before his retirement, died at Hospice at Wendover on Tuesday, January 14, 2003. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2003, 6-8 p.m., at Stamey Funeral Home, 846 East Stagecoach Trail, Fallston, North Carolina. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Leslie Pulley and Mike Wahlbrink. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations are appreciated to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150. Arrangements entrusted to Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, North Carolina.
I would like to express my condolenses to the family. Even though I haven't met most of you, I am a relative on the Grigg side. I have visited with Stough several times and Arlene and I are friends through our genealogy interests. You are in the thoughts and prayers of my family at this time. I'm so sorry for your loss, all of you. But I am especially thinking of Barry. I know the feeling of having a special relationship with a Grandpa.
