I met him through real estate. He always had fascinating stories about WWII, his experiences. He needed help and had my son working for him. He had him help with storing his artwork, help with the yard, winter snow shoveling and similar things. He took my son under his wing and taught him about the world. We miss him still. He was a great friend, loyal person, creative, and very intelligent. We miss him to this very day.

We always enjoyed his visits to see his grandchildren and daughter in California. A cultured and interesting man of the world.

So sorry to hear about Jacek's passing. A true renaissance man. We met through my sister Marguerite who he cared about very much in his later years. He would often attend family functions and always regaled us with his amazing life experiences. I have some of his whimsical artwork including a beautifully decorated wine box he painted and dedicated to my sister in 1984. Weekly we would meet at the Harvard tennis courts for doubles, and his drop shot was legendary. He really loved the game and...

I worked for Witold and Jacek during my student days at MIT. It was just the three of us. I worked on Our Lady of Jasna Gurya church, a small apartment building, and also on a hospital. Jacek made three dimensional studies of every room in the hospital, with all of the equipment in each one to make sure it all fit and was functional.
Jacek had books full of marvelous drawings of churches that he had made, but he was most proud of three dimensional studies of the plumbing in a chemistry...
