My condolences to my cousins on the passing of their father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was the last of his generation. No doubt his sibling waited with open arms.
I remember those Avalos eyes. His father's eyes.
I recall how I read a photographer he met while serving in Germany during the war inspired him to become one.
