Not sure what to say?

Sending my sincere condolences to his wonderful family! What a great man!

To the Avery family. Sending you all our deepest sympathy. What a life well lived! Bob Clarke & Sarah

I had the pleasure of working with Jake at IBM. He was always warm, and supportive. What a wonderful life he had.

The patriarch of a great family, who was always warm and friendly. Thoughts and well wishes to all the family.

A++s Avery and family, The world is certainly less bright with your passing. What a wonderful human. I only knew Jake as a Kappa Alpha Literary Society brother, and also as a fellow Toronto Golf Club zealot, passionately committed to giving back and preserving the wonderful principles and legacies both institutions valued so dearly. This notice came as a terrible shock. Jake was a colleague and friend who always had a good word for everyone. He will be missed.

I played hocket with Jake and ha was a very good player and Guy!

I sit here in Scotland very sad to hear the news that Mr Avery has passed away. My thoughts are immediately with his lovely family. My love for Toronto GC really started with Jake in 1995. I arrived in Canada as a 21 year old to be immediately welcomed and looked after by Jake and his family. I will never forget the generosity and love shown to a stranger from Scotland. May you rest in peace Jake.

Our condolences to all of you.
