Not sure what to say?

Mr. Bauer was the my 6th grade teacher at Chapelle elementary school. There are many things about his teachings that I will never forget, some that I have even passed on to my own children. (health class type advice) when health class didn't need to be so in-depth. Also, how he made it easier for a weak speller to spell en-vi-ron-ment

Just randomly thought of you today, you were the best teacher thanks for all you've done.

I still tear up when I see his smiling face. He was a great man and gone way too soon. Hugs for comfort for his family and friends.

Like so many others have shared, Jack also made a difference to me as I entered the teaching profession. I am so thankful to have been able to team teach with Jack and Lynne. Jack's love for teaching and life has touched us all forever.

I always looked up to Jack .I respected and admired him .What a great guy , great man , a great friend , a great softball player . In the past years , I did not see Jack very much . But when I did , it was like I touched base with him ,yesterday .A truly remarkable man.To the Bauers ,I know he will missed , but never forgotten . Who could have asked for a better son , brother , husband , friend or mentor ? God Bless .

I will miss a great friend & colleague! His great sense of humor & fun personality! He was always willing to try new things in teaching & life! Rest in peace , my friend you will be missed! Love, Char Holly

I sorry to hear of your loss. I have not seen Jack in many years or his brother, Bob. We used to hang around back in the day. As I go through life I often wonder if I'm doing or have done things that really matter. Based on the writing of his students it's clear Jack did something that truly mattered. What a great job and fabulous legacy.

This is a great loss for the Chapelle family. Jack was a great teacher and friend. He will be greatly missed.

My children loved and respected him, as did I.
