Jack BAYNES

I have many fond childhood memories of our neighbour, Jack. He was kind to us Waimaunga kids. The Gussettes and the Dixons were always at his place playing table tennis, driving the landrover and hanging out. It never seemed to matter if Jack was home or not.I used to work for Jack after school and in the weekends - cleaning his house, shed handing and ploughing the paddocks. He let me graze my horse on his farm. Jack would come to dinner at our house once a week for years and years. I...

Sad to hear Jack has passed away.
I worked on the farm for him with my sisters, when we were still at school. Many fun memories.Jack gave me away when I married Brian.
