Such a wonderful man who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I loved that no matter where he saw you, whether at UMB or elsewhere, he spoke to you and made you feel so comfortable. Jack was always so kind to me no matter if I was a teller and later as an officer. You couldn't walk into Correspondent Banks without sitting down and talking, even if I came to see someone else. He did a wonderful job with the 20/20 dinner and seemed to enjoy it. He had a way of making everyone around him comfortable and of course always wanted to joke around after the business was done. Rest in peace, Jack. I'm proud to have known you!

My thoughts and prayers are with Jack's family at this sad time. I did not know Jack for very long, but I will miss seeing his smiling face at the Pub House in Raytown. He was always a joy to see and talk with.

It was an honor to know and work with Jack @ UMB. Liz and I had occasion to see him during his retirement @ V's restaurant where he routinely commanded an audience of friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Jack was a great friend. He taught me how to do my job, drink a yard at the Bumble Bee in Colorado Springs and introduced me to my wife. I will always remember him. He will be missed!
