Jack was one of my students at USM when he was in our counseling program. He was a great student and personified all the greater attributes of a good counselor. He was kind, highly empathetic, and a great problem solver.
He was able to enhance the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He joins his doves.

Marcia and family, My deepest sympathies to all of you. My Dad and Jack were great buddies and roommates at the Maine Veteran's Home. Jack had struggled the last few weeks and he is now at peace. What a kind man he was. He was always so polite and courteous! May all the memories you shared with him give you strength to grieve and know he is in a better place. Many thanks for all the kindness you have shown Dad. With lots of love and sympathy.

Jack was one of the few people that I can say saved my life. Early on in a life filled with chaos from bipolar disorder, I wandered into a classroom at MMC where Jack begun to help me get my life back together and not die.
