Jack's life is a model for the rest of us when it comes to handling adversity. He was ever alert to finding ways to circumvent some of the effects of his illness. I cherish the many conversations I had with Jack through the medium of amateur radio using morse code and then through internet email. Jack will be missed by the many friends he made throughout his life.
