I met Jack at one of sunrise services for Virginia Beach Christian Church where I was the pastor. His wonderful parents, Riley and Gertrude were members of our church. We love them. Gertrude made Christmas stocking for our two sons. We still hang them up every Christmas. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and we thank God for sharing the Cloud family with us. I had the pleasure of working with Jack in 1967-68 on Bill Elias's staff. I learned a lot from Jack and was proud to have been associated with him. Our condolences to Charlotte and family.

Our Condolences to the Cloud Family, Though I never had the honor to met/knew Mr. Jack Cloud, I felt like I knew him through my father and Uncle's recollections of his achievements/records for the College of William and Mary football team! A tribute to his high school, his alma mater and the US Naval Academy along with his service to his country, and as a US Citizen, member of the Cherokee Nation and as a family man! He will be missed! God Bless The Cloud Family and Him, Michael M. Hux, ...

The pain and grief of losing a loved one in death can seem unbearable. At such times, God's Word can give us comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) The Bible helps us to understand how our Creator and his Son feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knew the pain of losing someone in death. (John 14:9) May the family find comfort, hope and encouragement from God's Word the Bible.
