Not sure what to say?

Jack Coil was my football and basketball coach at Chapin High School. He was a wonderful, tough, rugged guy, and we all admired him. He was everything a coach should be in terms of a role model and teacher. I wonder if the young men of today have anything close to such a role model. We were most fortunate to have a man of his talent coach and teach rough hewn farm boys.

Coach Coil was my football coach and baseball coach in 1955 in Chapin. He was a man of integrity who cared about his players and the school. Also taught History.

Coach Coil was my football coach in 1957 and 1958 and then when I was a Senior in Pittsfield in 1960. He was a strong good man who cared greatly about his players and students. I regret that I didn't have the opportunity to speak with him before his death. - Bill Kraybill now of Columbus, OH
