Dear De Witt Family, I am praying for your hearts to heal; such an extremely painful loss. As you know, Jack loved all of you so very much. A few months ago, when I asked Jack how I could pray for him, he didn't ask me to pray for him; rather, he asked me to pray for all of you in the family and also asked me to pray for the Request family and business. He also told me he was praying for my parents who were in need of extra prayers. So sweet! I feel so blessed to have known Jack for 27 years...

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the loss of your father, Jackie. I remember him well and your beautiful wedding. I know you had a very special relationship with him and will miss him. He was an amazing man - I didn't realize how much he contributed to society and the world until just reading his tribute. He was a man who truly lived his faith. What a great example for the rest of us. I am thinking of you - I still miss my Dad. Marcia Kaye

I had the opportunity to visit with Jack at Request numerous times in the past. I always found him to be engaged and curious about the world around him. He was generous in his support of the children and families we served. I could count on him to ask good questions of the work being done around the world on behalf of vulnerable children. My thoughts go out to the DeWitt extended family as they mourn this loss.

My prayers for all of the Family. Such great memories of the kids. So many of Jack and Marys children played Tennis for my teams at ZHS and left me with such positive love for them and family. You both did a great job in raising children with grace of the Lord in their lives. My heart breaks for all of you in your loss.

Jack was an Amazing, Generous and Loving man. His Love of Christ, his Family and His Request Family was such an Inspiration. I was blessed to join the Request Family in 1993. Jack will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary and the entire DeWitt family.

Sincere Serenity

Jack was an amazing man, a true servant of the Lord. He and Mary are excellent Christian role models for others. The were bold and generous in their faith and example. Our community has lost a tremendous leader but Mary and the family will continue to praise and serve the Lord. May He comfort them now with His amazing Love. Dave and Beth Wright
