Crofts-Crow Funeral Home - Blanco Obituary

Jack Edward Eberle, a proud Navy veteran from Spring Branch, TX, passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 94 in Bulverde, TX. Born on October 9, 1929, in Turner, Indiana, to John Eberle, Jr. and Dora Ellen Eberle, Jack had a deep sense of patriotism and served his country with honor and dedication.

After graduating high school, Jack embarked on an adventurous journey, serving in the U.S. Navy and traveling the world. His experiences in the Navy were a source of great pride for him.

Upon completing his service, Jack continued his dedication to his country by working in Civil Service. His years of service culminated in a well-deserved retirement at Camp Stanley in San Antonio, Texas.

Jack is survived by his niece, Sue Muncie, his nephew Chuck Eberle and niece Patti Mook, along with many dear friends who will always cherish their memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Charles Eberle, two sisters, Carol Ann Muncie and Joyce McCaw; and nephew, Ed Muncie.

Ceremonies to honor Jack's life will be announced in the near future. In memory of Jack Eberle, may he rest in peace.

Not sure what to say?

Just tried to call Jack’s phone number and it was out of service. Knowing his age we checked the obituary. So sorry to hear of your loss and ours. Mark worked with Jack 30 years ago and we have stayed in contact through the years. He was thoughtful and kind. He always wrote me back when I sent him a letter. We have fond memories and will always remember him. Monica

First of all, I would wish to covey my deepest condolences to Sue, Chuck, and Patti. He was the sweetest guy you would ever want to meet. We've known each other for over 70 years.

Perhaps some explanation is in order: When Jack left the Navy he was released in Boston, Ma. He met and became friends with my late uncle Allen and hence a frequent and welcome visitor with our family. I would have been nine or ten at the time. On so many Saturdays, he would come to the house,...

He was a sweetheart, May he rest in Heavenly peace, and may the Lord provide comfort to all who knew him; family, loved ones, and friends.
