Not sure what to say?

Lauren, this is Kathryn (Holbrook) Taubert. I found a photo of the four of us taken at Lake George and thought I'd try to find you. I was so sorry to come across this notice. My heart goes out to you and the family. I live in Rainbow Springs, FL, now, also widowed (again). Funny how we lived so close and never knew it. You can find me on Facebook under "Kathryn McDonald Taubert" if you want to reconnect after all these years. Hugs to you all. Kathryn

Dear Lauren and family,
Jack was a really nice man and always made us feel welcome when we visited you in Ridgewood. We will always remember him. Our prayers go out to you, Rick, Deb, Doug,Kelly, John, Meg, George, and all his wonderful grandchildren that loved him very much. We are so sorry for your loss...... our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time

I'm so sorry to hear that Jack has passed. I would love to hear Jack tell story after story and joke after joke when we'd be traveling together to medical trade shows. He always had good one and was so good at telling them. Plus Jack was a great man, honest, friendly, and fair. He will be missed but I am glad I was able to know him. I wish the best to Jack's surviving family.

Meg, Lauren and Family:

So sorry. Jack and Dad will always be by your side if you keep him in your hearts each and every day.

I met Jack working at the boats at Downtown Disney. Great guy, he will be missed by our Sassagoula family.

I was very saddened at the news of Jacks passing. We were classmates and friends at Osage High School. Truly a gentleman and a fine person, I am just so sorry for your loss.

Dear Lauren,

Losing Jack so quickly after spending a great week with you two in July leaves us all puzzled that life can be so fragile. You know Jack was my brother in life. I feel so fortunate to have had Jack as my friend from 5th grade on. He was such a positive influence on me growing up. He always had optimistic thoughts to share about all the trials in life and never allowed those around him to loose their spirit when faced with tough challenges. His sense of humor was a...

Dearest Lauren, Meg, Doug, Rick and John; I remember you all so fondly, and am thankful for the warm love your husband and father had for all of us Elvidges. When we were together for my brother John's rehearsal dinner, it was as though time had not advanced one day...we might as well have been in Ridgewood -- or Lake George. He was a warm, loving, kind man...a blessing to all who knew him, I'm sure. I loved reading about his work during his "retirement"; I hope we all leave as meaningful...

We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Eiel's passing. He was such a sweet man. I remember how welcoming he was when we came to your home in Ridgewood. We were glad he made it to our wedding too. I know that must have been a proud moment for him to see John as Doug's best man. There are many wonderful memories that Doug talks about. He treated my husband like a son. He will be missed.
