I served with Jack in the Navy, with VP-11, NAS Brunswick, ME, and in Iceland for five months when the squadron was deployed there, August 1960/January 1961.

I just randomly looked up Jack and an saddened to learn of his passing. He was much beloved by his Navy shipmates and extremely popular for his visionary and bold rock music he shared with us on many occasions. Deepest sympathy to the family, Jack was one of my best friends back in those young, joyful years.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Well today I am in shock puts it mildly, but he is truly in a better place. So many times I was going to call him for a drink and talk about our music together. As I told you when I stopped by Jack Entis came into my life when I was in a very dark place. Jack guided me out of that place and got me on the straight and narrow, he took a chance on me as his drummer and I never could have found a better man and friend.
