I miss him so much...

Oskar--I just found out about Jack. I've been hiding in Amherst and not reading the TIMES. I'm stunned and the loss to you and your wife and your family--horrible. But when I saw a photo of him with your smile and read everything he was interested in. . .I realized the loss to our world. Love, Connie Congdon

Oskar and Laurie - though it has been quite a long time since we hung out in the house I shared on Oak Pass Road in LA - I think of you two with great affection and am sending my most heartfelt condolences over your terrible terrible loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Barbara Ligeti

Jack and I were partners in crime back in first grade. He convinced me to take out every screw in my house in hopes of finding the legendary one that would send the house crashing down. To this day, that story brings me so many joys to remember. It makes me so sad to hear of his passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. The family of my early-childhood best friend will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oskar -- I only recently learned of your inestimable loss. My best wishes to you and your family, old theater comrade -- Misha
