Not sure what to say?

10 years later and still the best damn DBA and Programmer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I would be sitting there, explaining what I wanted or needed, he appeared to be just ignoring me typing away at his magical keyboard and by the time I was finished explaining what I wanted, he flip his screen around and Boom, there is was. He was worth his weight in gold both as a com padre in the workplace and as a friend as well. Still miss him every time at work when I need something, I...

I was recently going through my rediscovered yearbooks from Roseburg and saw Jack's photo. As we were childhood friends - starting at Winchester Elementary School, we had lost touch after graduation, and I wanted to find out what had happened to him. I'm deeply saddened to find out about his passing. Jack was a faithful friend, and an amazing person - and I have many fond memories of him. Though it has been ten years since he's been gone, I want his wife Julie and the rest of his family to...

Jack with our dogs Chico and Scruffy

In loving memory of Jack Everett, who was taken from his family and friends on June 30th seven years ago. I don't know how anyone else feels, but it just doesn't seem possible that it's been that long ago. I want to pay honor to Jack's memory, as I do every year on Facebook, and share some memories. It's a particularly sad day, due to the natural reliving of it (and the weeks leading up to it) at this time every year. Although time marches on, not a day goes by that I don't think of him and...

I sure appreciate the comments and stories from Jack's former friends and classmates who post in this guest book. Please don't hesitate to continue posting. It's never too late.

Jack

I know it has been years now...I still think of yu as a friend that never judged me, I am 55 now and you would be 56. I have not heard from any of the old gang, I heard Bill is living on the farm as a recluse, your brother moved back to the 'burg and takes some really good pix with his phone of humming birds. Matt passed several years ago...have not heard from Jerry or Randy. Just wanted to check in...

Jack,

Wow, I just found out...it has been about thirty years since I have seen you and I still think about the times we had in school. I pray all those left behnd enjoyed your company as much as I did so long ago

Julie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your dear Jack. He seemed like a really great person and had such a nice friendly manner. That, and it was clear how happy you were to be with him.

I know this has to be a huge loss for you Julie. You have my deepest sympathy. Condolences also to all Jack's relatives.
