Not sure what to say?

Both friend and mentor, Jack had a huge impact on my life. The days at PSU, Cannon Beach, and a frequent, welcome houseguest in Los Angeles. I'm coming late to this page, but your loss has been felt a long time

He was an inspiration I have followed for many years ...

So many happy memories ... so many valuable sessions ... a truly inspiring teacher and leader

just learned belatedly of jack's passing and as a friend of over 40 years i am devastated. he is a great loss and was a wonderfulman and an inspired teacher.

You are in our hearts and thoughts so often, Jack. We will never forget you.

My greatest mentor in theatre.

You were an inspired and inspiring teacher. I learned so much from you at PSU - all of which I have used throughout my life. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Professor, you were like a candle, you burnt to shed light on us. I was your Iranian student in the 1980s, and now as a professor, I recall all your helps and generosity, and share the sadness of all your beloved ones. Hamid Saniipour

From Bloomington to Cannon Beach/Arch Cape to Portland, so many significant milestones in our lives were shared in the warmth of your kind and loyal friendship, Jack. You will continue to inspire us and will always remain a cherished, enduring memory. May you be surrounded in love and light forever.
