Not sure what to say?

Watching the Phillies play on TV in Pittsburgh and seeing Jake sitting in the stands directly behind home plate. I called him and watched him answer the phone and asked him how he got the tickets. He said he knew someone with the Phil´s who got them for free for him. After that I always called him "America´s Guest". Everyone loved Jake and me too.

I just found out of Jack's passing. We worked at Steer together late 70's early 80's. He made working fun. Always a joker and made me laugh all the time. Jack was a wonderful and kind person may he Rest In Peace . Heartbreaking news today.

I’m so sorry to hear about Jake’s passing - I knew him from my days back in SW Philly and from our Hastings days back in the 70’s. I would occasionally run into him at the WC summer reunions in N. Wildwood. He had a great positive personality and never forgot a face. Rest In Peace Jake.

Big, Big loss. He left it all on the field of life. SWP Hall of Fame
