Not sure what to say?

Dear Gartner family,
I'm sorry for your loss. I enjoyed going into the market with my dad and talking with your dad. I know he will always live in many people's hearts and memories.

Dear Lorraine and Sherry,
Those of us who for years have gathered at the Honey Jar for morning coffee surely do miss our friend Jack. He was always cheerful and we were grateful that he always referred to us as "gentlemen". We could set our clock by his punctuality to pick up the donuts. We would chat about fishing and life and enjoy interacting about the affairs of the day.
We treasured his friendship, his place will never be filled. On behalf of that little clatch I wanted you...

Lorraine, my heart goes out to you and the family as you go through this transition. It seems our lives have touched at different times as parents at Wilkes, neighbors in Cypress Park,then fellowshipping at Fresh Faith. Even though I did not know Jack well his influence as a father and grandpa were evident through your family.
Take care and let the love of God comfort you.

It has been a pleasure knowing you all these years and you will be missed.

From my perspective as back fence neighbor for almost 30 years, I saw Jack as a dedicated and loving father and husband, a gentleman, and a great gardener. If he was in his back yard, it was his laugh I heard,or a friendly hi. Always smiling, his laughter and happiness was contagious. Thanks for being great neighbors. It was fun to watch your family grow up. My prayers are with you during this tough time.

My condolences to the Gartner family. I had the good fortune to be a member of the Sea Scout troop Jack led during his time in The Dalles around 51-53. He was a fine leader and took us on many fine sailing adventures on the Columbia. He will always remain in my memories.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack's family and all of the "family" at Gartner's Meat Market during this time of sorrow. His physical presence will be missed by many. His legacy and the memories will last forever.

We would like to give our condolences to the Gartner family. Working with Jack was always a pleasure. He will be missed.

Sheri and Mike Puppo;
We are so sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts, prayers, and condolence's are with you during this sad and difficult time.
May God be with your family...........................
