Jack was a wonderful brother to my sister and I. He was always interested in what we were doing as children and adults. He was kind, protective, and fun. I will miss his genuine smile, laughter, and big bear hugs so much.

I am very sorry to lose such a wonderful father-in-law. Jack was always very warm and kind to me right from the very first day I met him. As my relationship grew with the Gilbert family, I was fortunate to get to know Jack and his many wonderful traits. He possessed a deep sense of calm, honesty, and straightforwardness that is hard to find these days. Jack also had a wonderful sense of humor which I truly enjoyed. He will be greatly missed.
