Jack Gillett

I became acquainted with Jack when I worked as a waitress in an A2 restaurant where he stopped almost daily for coffee before he drove to Dearborn for work. He arranged a summer temp job for me at Ford, which became my career. We lost track of one another through the years, but I have always remembered his kindness and his love of his family. I am so very grateful he went out of his way to help me get that first job with Ford. I am sure my life would not have been as fulfilling had he not....

Joy & Ward, so sorry to hear about your dad. He was such a great guy. I remember 2 things about him that you guys may, or may not know. When I bought my first car he loaned me some of the money to make a down payment. That was huge for me at the time, and 2nd,,,when he was working at Pioneer I use to drop off that same car (1979 camaro) at Pioneer and your dad would work on it changing the oil etc. to keep it running so good. I had that car for 33 years. Finally sold it last spring. And...
