Dear Mrs. Greathouse and all of Jack's family, I was so sad to learn of Jack's death. When I was Dean at New Mexico State University and also through Rotary, Jack and I worked together many times. He was especially kind to me, always gave me very good advice, and I think we accomplished some positive things. While both spoken and written words are inadequate to express the depth of my concern for all of you at his passing, I do want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.... John
